Hello,
Has anyone think of creating custom Live Timing page for Vola software?
I actually do not like their live timing page and it is also expensive.
Regards Michoux

Following this. Using the VOLA-sw, the live timing has been on my wish list with a high priority but not that important that I would buy-in.
In my vicinity are a couple of vendors in the market with Mylaps based solutions for rather little money but no one offers VOLA-support.
Never used Mylaps before, I guess it is not good for ski races, kayak races ...
I am developing live timing for Vola at the moment, will post progress ...
If you are in the US, there is a work around. PM me, and I'll let you know how we have achieved it.

Good Morning!
Do you know any software for sending live timing Mylaps?
Mylaps charges very expensive.
Is there an alternative program with a cheaper price?

Hi,
I developed my own live timing for Vola. It has 2 parts. Special software that connects to Vola, and sends simple xml files to web site, which is second part of the solution.
During the developement, I found many ways to get the data from Vola. There are some network ports which Vola uses and sends data out, you can also use some of the SCB protocols or just read from Vola database.
Michoux,
The livetiming you have made,
is this something you can share in some way?
but my equipment is Mylaps X2 with Orbits 5 software, I am looking for a live timing program
obs, .... I have a Vola key to sell, there are Circuit pro and rally pro programs
How good is this equipment? Just when I get Simply Fit Board injuries I was extremely angry and upset!

Do you sell the livetiming program to Vola?
What would be the price?
Does the program also make a screen to show the results on TV?
While there are pros and cons to both Vola and Split Second software, the Split Second live-timing is one of the reasons that we like it. It's simple, effective, and free.
Mark
and where can i download this program?
can be used for motorcycle and car racing?
A Split Second software license can be purchased at splitsecond.com. Live-timing is basically built-in and doesn't require any additional software or license. The same license can be used with their Club software, which offers several other timing options, one of which might work for car racing. Not sure.
If anyone's interested - let me know
