The TED transmitters are ideal for sending either start or finish impulses to the timer for NASTAR (or any other tyoe of racing) The only issue revolves around dual racing. The TED units need 1 1/10 of a second to register and transmit a pulse. Therefore a second pulse could be "lost" as it occurred during the 1/10th processing lockout. SCHWEITZER MT. RESORT in Idaho solved this by using two sets of TED units on different frequencies.
