Several clients have asked if they can run SST USSA/FIS and Broder's SKI*WARE together. Only Broder's SKI*WARE allows the use of multiple intermediates and speed traps. You have two choices. You can either use USSA/FIS for your results processing software and import and export data or you can run both programs simultaneously on two computers.

The data coming from an S4 or TDC 8000 timer (all ALGE in fact) can be jumped to several computers at once. Merely solder additional signal and ground leads to the DB9 connector going into your PC. Attach those leads (pin 2 signal, pin 5 ground) to the next DB9 connected to the second PC. Configure the programs and you should be off and running.

Data swapping between the two programs is pretty straightforward. The only real issue is the fact that SST does not seperate first and last name fields with a comma. Take the SST export into Wordpad. Use the "replace" function to search for 2 spaces and replace with a comma. Viola! a comma between first and last names. Import the appropriate fields into Broder's and you are up and running.

Try to become as familiar with Excel as you can. You can do a great deal of adjusting with it.
