The latest improvement to the Microgate Linkgate system is the ability to use a Racetime2 as a bib entry keypad with the Enc Radio MF transmitter. Very handy for quick changing numbers and a requirement for 4 digit bib numbers.
You need the ENC Radio MF or multi frequency transmitter.

4 digit bib numbers can be used in any program such as PC Online or Training
You can add the start impulse inputs to the 15 pin input jumper and record the TOD start on the printer of the Racetime2 as well. This will effectively satisfy the FIS TOD recording requirement. Just Sync the two timers in TOD mode prior to installing. You will need to separate the input to the ENC Radio MF and the Racetime2 with a Blinky Box or other isolator.
