Timy - needs to be reset | TimingGuys.com

We have an Alge Timy that will work for at least a dozen starts and finishes and then will not respond to a start impulse. When the Timy is reset, it will function fine and then have the same non-resond issue after roughly the same number of starts. Any ideas?

Please try this test with just an external button or banana plug jumper.

Disconnect the TIMY from the power supply and PC

Give the TIMY the same or preferably more pulses than when you see the problem on the hill.

Try giving it rapid fire pulses as well. Both banana plug inputs 0 and 1.

The TIMY should be able to handle anything you send it on it's own. If it does than your TIMY is ok.

Then add the power supply and repeat. Should be ok. Then add the PC.

Finally add the connections to the hill wiring.

You need to see where the addition of a new component causes the issue.
