Wich cable should I use to send start TOD taken by a Timy to the TDC 8000 Plus, situated at the finish line ?

I can’t use TED because of distance between start point and finish line.
I can’t use PC.

I will have the start TOD of all racers and then take the Timy to the finish line and transfer data to TDC 8000.

Use your standard timy to PC cable and dump the timy memory to the Com to File program. Copy the data from the table and use the bi-directional TDC cable to install the start times to the TDC also using Com to File. Examples of both cables can be found in the alge cable guide on the Phoenix Sports website. You will need a PC to capture the TIMY data and then transfer it to the TDC. We successfully have uploaded start times to a TDC using this technique this past week however the start times were not captured with the TIMY. Once you have the bib and time information in a table it is a simple and quick transfer to the TDC. The Fred has written a guide to this and it should be posted here soon.
There are no cables listed in the Alge Cable Guide for this however the listed pin outs on pages 18 (TDC to PC) and page 45 (TIMY to PC) should tell the story.

TDC----------TO----------TIMY
Pin 1 TXD----------------Pin 11 RXD
Pin 2 Ground-------------Pin 12 or 24 Ground
Pin 3 RXD----------------Pin 10 TXD
Pin 4 CTS----------------Pin 19 RTS
Pin 5 RTS----------------Pin 22 CTS

The connection from pin 1 on the TDC (TXD) and pin 11 on the Timy (RXD) would not be needed if you only want to go from the TIMY to TDC but would be needed for true bi-direction. For the fun of it we may try this also.

CAUTION: This has not been tested and is purely speculation at this point. Proceed at your own risk.
