Are there any training videos on the stopwatch mode setup and use for FIS ski racing?

Jeff,
I'm not aware of any videos. The setup is straightforward. Start impulse is C0 & Finish C1. Using stopwatch mode means you will need to manage bib numbers on the Timy in addition to managing the timing software.
Personal preferences vary, but I run timers in time of day mode, allowing the timing software to handle the data management, as it is intended. The Timy would be run in backup program.
We can send you a narrative on how to do this. We have it for pure "stand alone " use and Stopwatch with software. Please write directly to us with the serial number of the TIMY to
info "at" phoenix-sports.com
We will then help you out.
Further always use the ALGE Com To File to verify both serial and usb connection.
If you're using Split Second software and have spare pairs of wires at start and finish, you can store, review and process the pulses from hand timers. Use a plunger to trigger pulses both in the hand timing device and the A timer via the hill wiring network. Instantly review hand timing consistency just by comparing them on the tape as the race progresses.
