Has anyone succeeded in configuring Vola to use the USB setting for connecting with a TAG Heuer CP545? I have the time working fine as a COM port, but wonder why it won't recognize the USB port natively. Thanks in advance.
The 545 will not connect to Vola as USB, only as COM. The USB port on the CP545 is a built in FTDI RS232 converter.
Ethernet and a good router is recommended. As an option you can connect two CP545/540 (sys A and B) to the network. Setting up CP B as PTB 5-8 will leave you two extra channels for intermediates/speedtrap. Speedtraps have to be on the same timing device.
