First time on this one. I'am wondering if I use
one photo cell to start my speed trap and do I need one or two photo cells to end my trap and interval? I would also like to know my settings
on the input mapping on splitsecond. This is for the J 1,2 JO champs in Jackson next week. I
would like to get this one right the first time

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Bob,

I'm still finishing up some significant changes to the software but you may want to grab a pre-release version for your races since it sounds like you want to have a speed trap.
The new version can now manage up to 6 intervals and 3 speed traps!!!!!
With an extremely flexible method of dealing with speed trap inputs you can allocate any inputs to any start/finish of a speed trap. In fact, Jordan at Sunday River is planning to allocate Start and Finish as one speed trap to give athletes an average speed for the course for their Super-G!
You can give any speed trap any length you want, and even give a description. 'Interval' Reports have been expanded to handle the extra intervals and speed traps.
I'm just finishing off a few cosmetic details and integrating intervals/speeds with Real Time.
You can download it from:

http://www.splitsecond.com/software/UssaFis.exe

It's not an installation program, just save it to: "C:\Program Files\SplitSecond\Alpine and Snowboard\Program files"

If you do use it, please let me know how it goes so I can make any changes before the release...
