Version 4.10 rev 10 now allows the bib number and start pulse generated by the Microgate Enc Radio to be automatically entered into the database.
This works with the RACETIME2 and REI2 timers.
1) Make sure the "bib capture" check box is active in setup and test for the Racetime2. The selection for bib numbers is made on the REI2 during start up. The software accepts the bib for the REI2 if present.
2) All active bibs need to be in the competitors data base prior to racing. They can have assigned start times.
3) Do not upload the bibs into the timing screen. The software will add them as needed.
4) A pulse received without an associated bib in the data base will appear in the top of the timing screen. The operator is then obligated to assign a bib by typing it in followed by enter, or to delete it.
5) This should alleviate the need to worry about "ghost" riders as they will just sit in the data base with their assigned time if needed.
