Hi, sorry about my english, i am from Mexico.

We are timming events from ENduro (motorcycle offroad), and now we
haved the new Alge TDC 8001, but I can't use the program for
the event, the fact is the race Enduro is about this (example):

Start Number
15
18
20
25

15 (second heat)
40
150

Finish number
15
18
20
25
15 (second heat)
40
150

as we can see, the numbers are mixed in heats, and the Alge tdc is not
giving the Running Time (elapsed time) for second head, also if
we change the TDC 8001 to NEXT heat, but then, we can use the
first heat.

The question is: can we register same numbers in different times for
same heat? (we use split program), how can we do that?

The TDC is registering the Start Time and Finist Time, but does not
show the running time except for first heat (second heat is not showing).

This is the result in TDC:
0020 C0 00:25:02.8628 00
0022 C0 00:25:10.6894 00
n0000
n0022
0022 C1 00:25:20.6278 00
0022 RT 00:00:09.93 00
n0000
n0020
0020 C1 00:25:31.4416 00
0020 RT 00:00:28.57 00
?0022 C0 00:26:18.6620 00 (HERE IS SHOWING ?)
n0000
n0022
?0022 C1 00:26:33.2337 00
?0022 RT 00:01:22.54 00 (THIS IS NOT THE ELAPSED TIME)

Thanks in advance.

Thanks James, that is one option, however, it's not easy to remember witch is the heat right for each pilot, there are like 200 or 300 pilots running in an Enduro race, and the best pilots maybe reach 6 heats, while not expert pilots are running maybe 2 or 3 heats.
The motocycles in the total event are "lapping" (when one pilot reach another) and the operator can't remember if is the first, or the second heat for an especific pilot.

I will be appreciate yor comments.

More worst, is the fact than the operator just see the motociclye number when a pilot is finishing the finish line, and the operator could not know if the number starting was 15, 1015 or 2015 (for each heat), there are maybe 4 or 5 pilots running at same time in the circuit (start line and finish line), and there is other motorcycles waiting to start in the start line.
This is a limitation of the TDC 8000/8001. The only way I know is to delete the start and finish times for each number after they finish. That way you can take another start and finish for that number and receive running time. You are describing a situation that happens frequently with the ski program known as NASTAR. The authors of the software for that series had to come up with a way to track multiple runs within a short period of time. The "fiddleware" software that is posted on our website is an example of this type. The only difficulty in using software is that it requires you to have a notebook pc on site next to the timer. The race is actually run on the pc instead of the timer.
