I'm planning on running a couple dual races next year. Currently I use a Timy fed via serial port into the Fiddleware program running on a laptop.

What do I need to do to use c2 (start) and c3 (finish) and how do I configure Fiddleware to recognize them? Is the TIDO worth it, or should I modify the existing Timy/Serial cable or just order a new cable?
Thanks

All inputs are available from the db25 port on the side. If you like to solder, you can make your own cable that will access the chanels desired. PST will also make you a interface box with the channels linked to banana plug sockets and manual buttons if you like. The TIDO would be really nice but the MC9 will work also.
The MC9 is a simple breakout box from ALGE. It simply has the various channels broken out to signal and ground banana plug sockets. It is really for an S4 as it does not have the continuation cable to the PC. The TIDO was designed to serve as the TIMY MC9 if you will. Even the TIDO is way overkill to get two additional channels.
