I've heard that when the RadioLynx battery decides to give up, that one pretty much has to buy a new $800 transmitter - the batteries are not meant to be replaced.
My unit just died (fortunately, it waited til the last meet), and not wanting to spend $800 bucks, I decided to open it up to see if I can replace the battery myself. Success! Here are my instructions for doing so:
