Hello,

Does anyone knows or has any documentation on how to send querys to PTB605 through Hyper terminal or similar?

I am able to establish connection and see data sent by the timer to the PC but don't know how to send data from PC to PTB.

Thanks! I got the protocol. I just don’t know how to actually send the query from the hyperterminal to the PTB. I get the connection because pc receives inputs from PTB but then I write querys and nothing happens.
I guess that I’m doing something wrong o. Hyperterminal.

It's going to be hard to write anything via hyper terminal since you need the STX, ETX and checksum bytes. You are going to have to write some code in whatever your preferred language is to frame the query text.

Ok I see... I just need to change the internal serial number since it is different from the hard number on the case.

You can send commands to a PTB605 ( an "end of life" timer) using Split Second software.
