Hello everyone. There was a problem with my device Chronoprinter 540 s/n 2470
The battery 2032 was discharged and the device started to glitch, then it did not turn on. It is printed on paper when the ON button is pressed:
FWT Timeout 1
FWT Timeout 2 6
FWT Timeout 0
FWT Timeout 0
FWT Timeout 0
FWT Timeout 0
FWT Timeout 0
I checked the voltage, the presence of a short circuit on the printed circuit board and came to the conclusion that this is a problem with the firmware. I installed a file on my PC with: TAGHeuerFirmManager v9.1, firmware, etc.
I installed Windows XP on a computer with a COM output. When opening the firmware manager, it says: This application has failed to start because the application configuration is nincorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem.
Help, how to open the manager and install firmware on the printer?

Your timer has a bad communication board in the worse case.

Actually fairly common issue with CP540

From TAG troubleshooting guide

Soft Error 10 ERROR_MRTX_FWT_TIMEOUT Input board communication trouble. Simple communication trouble with no Hardware influence. Load T firmware only. or this could be a hardware problem if message reappear after a new start.

We do have rebuilt CP 540 in stock if you need one.
