Hi,

Today, I update our FinishLynx Software from 7.1 to 7.3.
Everything worked fine and my add-ons were shown at the programm information.

But my RadioLynx stuff (for start and photocell) was no longer working...

I thought, I may have changed some settings - which I didn't.

Finaly, I uninstalled 7.3 and reinstallt 7.1 and Radiolynx was working again...

Strange

Hi, I've been having a lot of problems with radiolynx. Four notebooks wiht three differnt OS. Two with XP, one with Vista and one with W7.
Only W7 with ff7.50 the rest FF7.10 and none cant' recieve signal from RL. All connection are OK. I had to re-install all the FF software because the system was sending the message BAD IP ADDRESS. Now the camera is OK but no RL signal. What can I try?
Try using the Enc radio transmitter and dec radio receiver with the REI2 timer from the velodrome. The REI2 has a built in signal strength "signal quality" feature where you can see if the problem might be in the Enc or Dec radio. Make sure that the small connection between the Dec radio and the REI2 is removed with caution as it will be a snug fit when it is plugged in. Remove the antennas if testing indoors within close range.
This is the default RadioLynx settings on the camera hardware settings.

For the port:
- select connection box if your RadioLynx receiver does not connect into the back of the camera (older cameras)
- select camera back if your RadioLynx receiver connects into the back of the camera (Fusion & Pro models)

Start Mask should be set to the ID # - the default is 000

Setup - ID Drop down - these are the channels on the RadioLynx transmitter. Whatever you set here must match the channel on the transmitter. By default channel 000 is for the Start Sensor and is named Start 000. If you connected a Photo Eye on a different channel then you would set those settings here.

Link Pod - if you use the Microgate LinkPod

Also check your gun sensor - they go bad easily. If you aren't getting a start with the gun sensor you want to check if you are transmitting in the first place. Quick way to check is press the signal button on the transmitter. Upper left button. Press it once. The unit will beep. You should get a start on your PC. If so then your gun sensor and gun sensor cable has issues.

If you DO NOT get a start when pressing the signal button on the transmitter then there is a problem with the transmission of the signal. Check all cable connections. Loose wires. Etc.

Make sure the dip switches in both the transmitter and the receiver are set to the same positions. These dip switch positions corresponds to the frequency of the radio transmission.
