Tried booting my Vision camera with a new NetGear GS308P POE switch as the power supply. First two tries, it didn't boot at all. Third and subsequent tries, it would get into the boot process then I'd get one of the following messages: Camera Boot Error (102), or (103) or (104) or (117). Tried just the Identilynx camera with the switch and it would boot but drop after a minute or two.
Tries the other (I bought two) Netgear switch with the same results. Went back to the POE injector for the Vision and then the IdentiLynx and they both booted fine.
2 bad (brand new) switches????
The Trend Net switch that came with the system failed (for what now appears to be the exact same scenario). All the switches (obviously) powered the camera, it was th eboot sequence that failed.
Suggestions?

The NetGear GS308P POE Switch is only 802.3af compliant. You first need a switch that is 802.3at compliant. This is definitely a requirement with the Vision camera. Your IdentiLynx should still work fine with the 802.3af switch. You should also be using Cat 6 cables for the camera (although Cat 5e should work OK). Check your cables to make sure they are good. If you are using long cables, do not coil the access cable together.

Cable length was OK, less than 10 meters. Used Cat6 cable.
Experimented more; I have 4 HP computers and 1 ASUS. The issue occurred on the HP but not on the ASUS.
I uninstalled then reinstalled the RealTech Ethernet card (probably just the driver) and the problem noticeably got better. I was able to boot the cameras from the GS308P. But... the Vision dropped after about 20 minutes or so. I have turned off all updates on the Windows 10 OS so I am still scratching my head over what changed.
