Microgate REi2 System Booting Fault

Hi all.

Our Microgate REi2 has a fault and wondering if any of you more experienced guys have had this problem or know there way round it.

Once switched on the "--- SYSTEM BOOTING ---" symbol comes up, this stays there until the hard reset is pressed. I have tried leaving it for some time in case it was having a lazy start but nothing else happens.

Any ideas anyone????

The hard reset button you are referring to is next to the printer inside the case?

I have not seen this problem before.

The best thing would be to re flash the memory and therefore start again.

Are you able to take it out of service and send it in for this update or do you want to attempt to do it your self.

The update procedure is straight forward and requires downloading the firmware from the Microgate website and following simple instructions.
