The MICROGATE REI2 timer has had a software revision that makes it perfect for NASTAR use. The timer is ready to go once the operator selects Yes to the first option:
NASTAR Yes No
The operator can then select:
PRINTER Yes No
There are no other selections needed. All inputs are automatically set to work with the NASTAR software in either single or dual course mode.
The REI2 is the perfect replacement for the old tired TAG 605 timers. Is has 4 banana plug inputs just like the TAG. Nothing could be simpler.
The Microgate POLIFEMO photocells are the ideal replacement for TAG cells as well. They use AA batteries and 1/4 x 20 photographic threads. Again it is super simple to install and use. The POLIFEMO cells have the simplest alignment concept yet. They squeal until lined up. Then they stop. They then beep when you pass your hand through them. You can line them up in the dark, inserted in protection, you name it. Built in snow/rain protection too.
The STARTGATE is the only one on the market where you can switch between FIS/USSA manual and Autoclosing yourself. Merely moving the spring stud alters the type of gate.
The MICROCOM headset amp is very well thought out. The keypad controls allow it to be operated with gloves on. It runs on AA batteries so you don't have to stock various kinds (photocells and amps use AA). Headsets are nice single ear for indoor and vinyl padded Monacor for outdoor with threaded on heavy duty connectors.
