Microgate headset

how do you take apart a microgate headset? the wiring has broken right where it connect to the ear piece of the headset and I can't figure out how to get it apart for repair.

You need to remove the ear cover assembly. The leatherette cover is held into the plastic housing by a plastic spring. It will just pop off. Do not loose the foam that comes out too. Then you will see the small phillips screws that hold the shell together. Remove them and the interior of the shell where the connections are will be revealed.
