I would guess that it can be used in Mexico, as long as there are satellites overhead. I have been using them for quite some time. I have several in stock if you would like to purchase.

There are certain versions of the TIMY firmware that do not always work with the GPS receiver. Make sure you update the TIMY first before trying the adapter. John has quite a bit of experience with this. You can buy a GPS adapter from him or the more expensive ALGE version from PST.
