After blowing everybody's doors off for the whole race, Wirdheim slowed to a walking pace just short of the flagstand at the end of the final lap to exchange high-fives with his pit crew. In the midst of the celebration, Nicholas Kiesa roared by at 240 kmh and took the checkered flag.
