Starting in 2014 from USAC

"Officials guidelines changing; Race Directors assume responsibility for results

With the increased use in quality timing and results technology at bike races, gone are the days of assigning officials as back-ups for the timing and results functions. Beginning in 2014, the results submission process will be delegated to the race director and officials will no longer assume responsibility for the results. There are many options for a race director to manage the results process. Regardless of what method is used, significant communication will be required between the local association, the race director, and the chief referee so that everyone is clear on how the results will be generated. More information on this topic will be coming soon."

We expect to get more information on this at the North Carolina meetings in early November.

Of course Phoenix Sports will have a full collection of timing equipment including Finish Lynx cameras, Identilynx cameras, and TAG Heuer transponder systems available for sale and rental.
