Our race team found an old Gazc display board and we were thrilled to have it working a couple of weeks ago. Last weekend when we applied power the
board did not display "ALGE". We checked all of the connections and verified that there is power internally at the board and the capacitor. The only thing we did not try (perhaps foolishly) is sending data to the board. Our assumption is that if it does not display "ALGE" then something is wrong. HELP! We have races every weekend!

Replacement parts are available. Make sure that there is power getting to the main circuit board. If it says "end" it is not getting enough voltage or amperage from the battery. Older displays have trouble getting the internal charger to overcome a bad battery. The fact that the display may have been sitting awhile leads us to believe that the battery may be the culprit. Any 12v battery can do in a pinch for testing. Refer to the posts directed to Deer Valley for more guidance.
