I have an older Electronumerics scoreboard that we are missing the cable that connects it to the computer. Does anyone know where I could find the connector to the board and what the wiring diagram would be for the 2 wires. Or does anyone sell these cables anymore.

We have used it with the split second in the past and let our NASTAR use it and the cable came up missing.

Interesting. Can you take a picture of the socket going into the display where you would normally plug the cable in? The PC connection is easy, it is the display end that is more difficult.

Do you know which one of the 9 pin connection are used for these two wires to run the scoreboard?

The normal protocol is for the PC side to use Pin 5 for ground and Pin 3 for transmit.The display side uses pin 5 for ground and pin 2 for signal.

After lots of difference test it was discoved that the Electronumerics scoreboard will not work with a 9 pin serial converter. After hooking it up to a computer with 9 pin com port it worked with help from Fred and the wiring set up.
