File, Export
Export the fields you want, including "Start Number" and any fields you want/need. You can bring it into excel or anything you can open a delimited (comma or tab) text file.

OR

From the "Competitor" tab, choose "Reports" and "First Run" and "Start List".

Answer the questions as you want such as "Include Club Quota". You might also be asked if you want to sort first (this will depend on whether you have auto sort on or not).

When you see the preview screen, choose "Save to file" and then save this file to a location you can find it, such as your desktop. Make sure you end the file name with a .txt. For example, you should call the file StartList.txt

You can open this saved file in Word, Word Pad, Note Pad or Exel using "Fixed Width" and just delete the headers.

Good luck,
Jenna
While it is possible to import start times into the TIMY it is not very efficient as compared to the TDC import function. Start order is not possible to import so the import function would only be effective if you were using assigned starts and not dynamic or actual starts. The TIMY will allow you to have the start count up, down or be set manually. For a typical ski race the starts usually are sequential so the count up or down function is very effective. If you are looking at the second run you can choose to go to the next heat (run) and do a bibbo from the first heat. This will correctly load competitors into the start assuming that you have correctly timed the first heat. This is all using the STOPWATCH program.
I dont think so but I may be wrong. You can as I mentioned upload start times but again this is only usefull if you are using assigned starts as in a cycling time trial. When you do upload start times it interperates this to mean that all competitors have or will start at the assigned start times. It does not load the start or expect or require an electric start impulse.

If your start order is not sequential either counting up or down you can easily set the start to manual and key in each competitor prior to their start. This is much the same for either the TDC or TIMY. If it is sequential (up or down) hitting the enter key on the TDC start keypad or the green OK on the TIMY will advance the start to the next bib number as needed for a DNS.

What exactly is the situation that you are trying to overcome?
