D-Line display strobing.

D-Line display was working normally in stopwatch mode. Display began to strobe numbers rapidly at random intervals and then return to normal. It did not lose time. Now, a couple of days later it strobes all the time. I have cycled the power and checked settings. All seems fine, but still flashing.

Any ideas? FKP?

Did the display get dropped? The displays will do this if the ribbon cable is not seated on the back of the digits properly.

Display was not dropped before erratic operation began. I did crack it open and check ribbon connection to the board. Connection there was good. Did not specifically check the connections to the individual digits. Displays have gone back to PC, UT. I'll mention it to J so he can check of out. I'm sure you will hear from him about it.
