I want to ask if you can help me in a problem with a CP520. When powered with batteries, even with new batteries, the printer TURNS OFF after a few prints.
Does anyone had this kind of problem? Any solution?

Does this occur with the CP 520 plugged into the external power supply?
Does the timer continue to allow the startup sequence and sync to occur?

With the CP520 plugged into the external power supply, this doesn't happens. Only when powered with batteries.
And yes, powered with batteries, the timer continue to allow the startup sequence and sync. Only the printer TURNS OFF after a few prints.
So it would appear to be a power problem. These timers have been "end of life" with no support for quite a number of years. You will need to build an external battery cable and box if you intend to use this outside if AC power is not available.
I already suspected of that. Thanks for confirmation.
