When you burn a CD, by default, Windows changes the properties of the data files to read-only...............since a CD is read-only. Then you copy them from the CD to a hard drive, and they retain the read-only file attribute. V2 cannot (nor any Windows program) open read-only files in read-write mode, so all the files "open"
then fail, as if the file did not exist.
Once you copy data files from CD to hard drive, you must change the file properties back to normal from "read-only". To do this........
1> find the file using My Computer 2> RIGHT CLICK on the file name 3> Choose "PROPERTIES" 4> In PROPERTIES, you want:
ARCHIVE= YES (checked) READ-ONLY = NO (UNchecked) HIDDEN = NO (UNchecked)
