Split Second Timing Club Software ver 3.02
  • Added Real Time capabilities. This is done through a new tab in the software.
To use it the computer needs to be online, then fill out the section on the Real Time tab and register the race.
While doing the timing the data is transferred to the web and made available at: www.SplitSecondRealTime.com

There were a number of changes with ver 3.01 released a few days ago. complete list of updates

Unlike the currently released USSA software this does not require a Software Key to use the Real-Time features (the USSA software will be changed to work this way shortly).

www.SplitSecondRealTime has been revamped, again. Basically, it just gets better every day! The pages are now generated in real-time, you can control how quickly it refreshes and can see how many people are viewing each race. With a fast connection you can actually watch results with a maximum delay of 6 seconds! (this is faster than the FIS's system, but might drive you a little crazy with the refreshes if you aren't browsing with FireFox!)

The Club software (Now version 3.03) works well and is very flexible. We recommend it for all people trying to do races involving team scoring and dual courses. The only issue we have discovered is that you must have your printer on and prepared to go prior to staring the software if you are choosing the "Automatically print log as each page is full" option. If not you will get a Windows " Output buffer is full message" That will repeat until the system shuts down. If that happens, stop the race, reboot, fix the printer, restart.

The scoreboard outputs works with both wired and wireless ALGE and PST systems. The Phoenix C option works very well with dual course racing.

The Swap course descriptions option works but you need to swap all inputs as well. Therefore the start inputs into the timer get swapped. The finish inputs get swapped. The displays get swapped as well. Just swap the rotary dial settings if you want to keep the courses the same.

The Block Edit function is your key to changing Team names etc. Just create the block with your mouse and then press Block Edit. You can then change the Class or Team by just overtyping and accepting.
