Note: decoders change protocol and options without warning. Most notably - the 'passive loop' option on newer protime units used to be 'language'. When cleared it will remove power from the loop.

Thank you for the reply, it's more or less what i still have.
I'm interested to have the protocol that programs like "decoder settings" or similar use to program the decoder:
- GPS SYNC yes\no
- Running time yes\no
- START \ STOP the decoder acquisition, ....

In alternative, can be useful to have a good USB\RS232 sniffer, able to catch it when the decoder receive something from the pc or send it back a reply.

all of those actions and options are programmed by sending a command config packet as listed in the linked protocol document.
