Burying transponder loops under asphalt paving in conduit

Does anyone have any experience with placing transponder loops in conduit and paving the track over them?

We have a track that has my laps loops right now. They will be removed when the milling machine comes over.

They want to place the loops in conduit and then repave over them with fresh asphalt.

Sounds reasonable. That way they could replace the loops if needed.

Has anyone done this?

I understand that Wanneroo Raceway ( formerly Barbagallo but currently “Carco.co.au Raceway”) here in Western Australia has multiple loops laid that way
