Once AC determines that capture is no longer required, continue recording for a further 1.5 (or some other value) seconds - resetting the timer on each new passing.
I'm working on cycle events and would like to be able to show rookie riders that drop the wheel and suddenly find themselves 10 or 15 seconds behind the leader of the bunch they thought they were in that there was a clear 1s gap between them and the wheel in front.
There is something very convincing about scrolling through 2000 or so scan lines with the rider - then they understand visually
