I saw on the Science Channel a small bit on Lynx for horse races where they use a mirror on the finish line instead of a white board. This allows them to capture the other side of the horse for close races when the horse closest to the camera is blocking the other horses nose. This seemed like a cheaper solution then setting up a second camera. Has anyone tried this for a T&F meet? Biggest problem is trying to get the angle of the mirror to actually be 90 degrees to the track so that you're not just capturing the sky or the ground. If someone has done this, I would love to hear their tips on what worked best for them... size of the mirror, attached it to what, angled it how, etc. My other option is to go out to my local HS during a speed workout and just 'hack' around but I would appreciate any pointers if there are any out there. Thanks
