Ok, new meet, new question. I worked a meet today with a new person doing the capturing and on about 8 heats he saved the captured file for me to read on a second computer and when I opened it up and placed the hash on each runner, I got the time of day instead of their running time.

I have to assume he was doing something wrong either during the race or when he was saving the file.

Anyone out there had this problem?

We could correct it by opening the file back up on the capture computer and associating the correct start time to the file and then resaving it but we have not had this issue before.

Thanks

I am not seeing what he is doing of course ... it could even be a slow computer or something odd like that.

As a random guess, any chance he is on a thinkPad? We have seen some odd results when those are used.

Anyway, if he is up with the next event it should show an "a" next to the event meaning armed and it should show a colored block down below and left.

Just have him/her run the routine a few times while you watch him/her and watch what is happening.

The good part is that you got it.
