Another photocell question . We're hosting a night SL race next week -- a first for us. Dose anyone have any experience using the tag's 31's and 32's under the lights?
Your cells will work just fine "under the lights" In fact this might be a good way of discovering if the natural sunlight might be your culprit in your earlier post. We have used all different brands of cells on our night race series for years.
My thought is that your photocell elements are stressed from being overpowered by the natural sunlight. We have seen several sets of cells from out west that have had this problem. The TAG cells get real cloudy on the inside of the lense as the burning effect of the lense (like a magnifying glass burning ants) melts the plastic surrounding the diode.
