I am proud to announce immediate availability of our newest software called IDCam.
It can be used for all kinds of sports that have multiple athletes coming to the finish-line in a short period of time. IDCam allows for visual detection of missing/not detected transponders. This happens by having frames recorded from an IP camera that are overlapped with identification/bib from transponders. Using smart keyboard shortcuts, the operator only needs to sit in front of IDCam and jumps from recording to recording looking for not tagged competitors in a fast and comofortable way. IDCam records images from virtually any standard IP camera whenever a lightbeam is triggered and takes identification/bib from either a transponder system or a TdC 8000 in memory mode. This software saved myself and partners a lot of headache from missing transponders which results in hard to determine order of finishes on competitions where no line-scan camera is present. Even if there is one present, the software still allows faster and better lookup of missing transponders.
