Why am I having negative time for some racers ? (using Timy 2 with split second)

This was noticed and pointed out to me a little while ago. In an unrelated case, I found someone else had a similar issue. In that case, they had not synced to a true time of day. They had TOD's on the tapes that were before midnight 00:00:00.000. The corresponding finishes were AFTER midnight.
Is your situation similar? If not, can you find the correct TOD impulses on A, B and hand timing to correctly identify them? If so, hand enter the TOD in TOD edit for each athlete.
If none of this is your issue, have you gone to Live Timing tab in the software and re-uploaded all competitors?

I'm sure that my TOD was sync correctly. Fortunatly we had Syst B and hand time to adjust times. That alos just happened today in a can am race at Mont Tremblant. Go see on live timing the female race second run.
Good thing you had B to go from, that's why they are necessary. With the timing of your post, I assumed you were at the CanAms and scrambling!
