CP705 Timing Function

My connection is good. I can can get starts and finishes. The tape prints the time but not the bib number associated with it. I never have used the 705, is that the way it works? If not, do you have any ideas what may be going on?

Geoff was able to confirm my question. The function is really only one direction. Timer -> computer. The 705 cannot receive information from the timing software.

The CP705 is not bi directional as Geoff said. If you want the bib number and net times on the 705 tape you have to time from the 705 and run Split Second in the 705 net time mode from the timer list in setup and test.
