The machines I purchased for our club all have 1.6 - 2.0 GB RAM. I tried installing Win 7 on one of them a couple of months ago and it appeared to run fine for the few days it was on there, Split Second and the scant few other apps we use all looked good on this admittedly limited trial. The only reason I didn't leave it there is the cost of licensing four computers over to Win 7. They run fine at present in XP and the club can use its funds for other purposes.
