We actually had a TIMY come in today that would not charge with the 2,1 mm euro input plug socket. It works fine with the DIN plug on the other side.

Pin 3 ground
Pin 4 12vdc +

Try that and see if you have a similar issue.

The TIMY appears to be a generation 3 from 2008
