Tag 520 Printer Not Working

Half way through a race today and our 520' printer quit working(I mean stopped completely). The paper advance does not work either. I have tried the following;

Put in brand new batteries.
Tried with external power and batteries.
Tried with just external power.
Tried with just batteries.
Did a soft reset (power on while pressing 0)
Printer Menu is set to "yes"
Turned on and off at least 10 times to see if it would print.

Any advise would be great.
