Hi everyone.

Is there a "Undo False Finish" in SS that I'm just not seeing? If not, can it be added? (Not sure if Geoff Elder monitors this or not.) It seems like a good feature to have.

Without the undo, I think that the most graceful way to correct this is to DNF the finisher and then re-assign the finish time with TOD Fix. Agreed?

Thanks.

No, I'm not aware of an "Undo False Finish". I use the "TOD Fix" method that you describe assign the correct finish as you described. It's pretty easy to find the undone time because it already has the correct bib assigned and it is just above the False Finish in the timing log. Although usually something really bad has happened that caused the situation in the first place (someone tumbling through the finish, loose dog, hurricane force winds), so I like to quickly confirm with the the finish hand timer's time over radio or headset before assigning the finish impulse. After the race, I'll then hand check the racer's times around the incident because timing errors usually cascade and affect multiple racers.
