Just returned from timing the Sunday River (ME) Noram (2x MGS, MSL). Congrats to Chief of Race Jordan Ginsberg and his crew for putting on a great event. Course was outstanding despite 10" new snow. Great job guys!

Thanks Andy, You didn't give me enough time to recover, and post my thank you to you and Steve for an excellent job. I must say, from start to finish you guys did a first class Job.

The Set-up (Timing):
TDC8000plus (2) running as a 10 Channel Timer to Skunkware Pro driving a Daktronics scoreboard, TAG HL7 Start Gate, one Alge, one Tag photocell at the finish, one midpoint (push button), Tag 505 Chronoprinters as handtimers used by Start and finsih on a dedicated communication channel to the Chief of Timing (Anna McIntyre) who calculated EVERY Handtime with the help of Birdie Anatnucci.

And for the recap:
Four days of racing and not a problem, with timimg anyway, if you don't include two broken wands and a monitor that litterally smokes.

We did have our fair share of other problems including 10+ inches of new snow, LOTS of shoveling, LONG slalom couses, the shortest of which had 68 gates. MANY slides by course workers including myself, over 200 rolls of b-net (out and in), no coffee at the timing building til day two, a _slight_ tilt to the new timing building, and how a little (well not really little) bit of wind on top of the GS day one.

Thanks again til next year.
Jordan
