We are using an older computer (pentium 300 with 256 memory) and when trying to run both Naster and Split-Second National software, there seems to be a delay of 4-5 seconds from the time the competitor finishes until it displays the time in the finished tray in the software and to the scoreboard. But in the Club version there is no delay into the finished tray or the scoreboard. any thoughts on what could cause this delay and why it only happens in the Nastar and Nation version and not in the Club version.

We are also having the same issue but only when we run two courses in NASTAR and no problems with two courses in Club. Tonight I will either run it on the other computer in our race shack or reinstall the software. We have a brand new computer last year but our computer is doing a little bit of work too. We run a second monitor via a USB to DVI DisplayLink video adapter for our announcers(gets them out of our ear all race) Both our Alge S4 and Phoenix A are connected via USB to Serial adapters too. I have noticed the delay happens after a racer finishes. We usually have 2 people on course at at time and if I can get what would be the third racer on course punched in before the 1st finishes we are ok but if the Alge beep for a finish I am to late and have to wait it out. It doesn't seem to make any difference in the amount long we show the time on the display board or if we turn on the display board part way through the race. I hope to have more info after tonight.

Changes were made in the latest version 5.01
of the Club software to help this problem.

•Changed the method of managing the timing log and raw data log. This is an internal change maintaining the same functionality that should solve the problem that some customers had with the software `slowing down` as race timing progresses.
