Please remove hill wiring from timers when not in use

We are experiencing more and more TAG Heuer timers coming back for service with Channel 1 disabled. Or more likely the Channel 1 black ground socket

The only circumstance we can determine is that an electrical spike or surge was carried by the hill wiring start pair into the timer.

Fortunately A TAG Heuer CP 545 or HL 440 can be Synced with any Channel.

The Ground ( black) sockets can be jumped as well. So use the Channel 1 Green signal input with another Black ground if you have to in order to use Channel 1 as your start in Net time mode.

So please unplug the timer from hill wiring when not using it.
