2 sets of TEDs are not required. In fact, one set is not required, but obviously useful to get times from start to finish.

Do not see piggy backed banana plugs leaving start gate. Only see 2 pair and your feeding 4 devices. What other majic device/ splitter are you hiding?

That is how I read the spec's also. So if you were using wireless at a scored event would you just use one wireless device or two as Fred has shown. I just love back up. Hope, I never have to use a wireless set up for a scored race,but glad to know how if I get into a pinch.

Nick, the split is at the TEDs with one set of leads to the Start Gate and one set to the clocks.
