2005 Tour De Georgia starts tommorow

The last time I saw him race was at a regional MTB race in Winter Park - I think he ended up 2nd.

We will see about autographs. We tend to try to stay in the background.

The Tour de Georgia start house. ALGE RLS1n photocells on wheel bases. STB1 start beep. TIMY PXE records precise TOD times that are then radioed to finish and input into TDC 8001.

The displays are working fine. 2 BODET digits replaced. All cases racked. Lexan faces survived.

We are ready for the stage tommorow.

Those BMCs Phonak are riding look pretty trick. Would be a shame if a Phonak mechanic let one fall off the top of the team car into the Phoenix Sports trailer, for a modest fee, in cash of course.

Ok. We will see what we can do. The owner of Phonak/BMC is here so who knows.

Display board update. Racked but working. As we say, 20 foot rule. from 20 feet everything looks fine.

Brasstown Bald is nice and cold this afternoon. A little snow.

Wind chill is much colder of course.

Our Freightliner Sprinter is working well as a mobile timing and results room.
