Reply to "Using an ALGE TED RX with TDC 8000 for NASTAR"

The cable coming from the RX (004.05) allows the Receiver to send a start and a finish pulse to the timer. The Start comes in on Pin 1 the Finish on Pin 2.
Fortunately ALGE has thought of just the problem your described. The "A" photocell input and the "external supply" input are exactly the same. Move the power
supply to either the "B" or "C" photocell inputs. Connect the RX receiver to the "external supply" input. Connect the photocell to the "A" input with the RED 001.20
Stop cable.

You could also use the banana plugs on the RX receiver and connect them Black>Black, Green>Green to input Channel "0" on the TDC 8000

And for those of you using an S4 timer. The concept is exactly the same. Move the power supply to either "B" or "C". Connect the RX receiver to the "external supply" input (notice it is labeled "A"). Connect the photocell to the normal "A" input and away you go.
