Programmatic access to live data in SkiAlp Pro

We are interested in getting programmatic access to race data in SkiAlp Pro during a race so we can feed it into "titler" software for a live video stream. That is, when a racer starts we'd like his/her name and club to appear in a title in our live stream, and the software that does this should be fed directly from Vola. Does anyone know how we could get access to this? Vola writes to a local SQL database so we could poll that, but it would be inelegant. Are there any back doors to Vola...

***UPDATE immediately*** There was an error in a previous update that FIS athlete codes sent for live results were truncated down to 3 digits for all athletes. That results double athletes in the start list and it causes of issues with the live results. If you utilize the Vola FIS app, update your version right away. Import ignores catagory?

importing from .xls and it shows up in the window to assign fields but when i import to vola the screen is pink because the general parmeters haven't been meet. all i can figure is it is because the catagories are blank, when i change the general parameters so that catagories is blank the pink background goes away?

Running Alge Timy with Vola MSport software

Hey guys, I'm trying to figure out how to configure Vola and/or my Timy device to get the TOD in the Timing window when I'm getting an impulse from the photocells at start/inter/finish. Actually, I'm using the Backup program from Timy, but I'm not only getting the TOD... I'm getting the TOD and also the # of impulse. Thanks

TAG Heuer HL 960 Display Board work with VOLA?

Has anyone had any luck getting a TAG Heuer HL 960 display board to work with VOLA? My set-up is a Dell D630C laptop with the serial port connected to a TIMY PXE. So I have assigned a USB port as COM6 and a USB-to-Serial converter, then the data cable to the scoreboard. This set-up has worked perfect with Split Second for years, but no luck with VOLA. Any tips or troubleshooting would be appreciated. Thanks.

Ski Club functionality in Vola

Split times, window layout

We're using VOLA for a series this week where we have an announcer. With multiple intervals the window layout gets very wide and no longer fits on a single screen. This isn't a huge deal for the timer, but it makes it near impossible for the announcer to follow along. It also doesn't rank the split times, which also makes it hard on the announcer. We ended up just using live timing for announcing purposes but that still isn't ideal. Has anyone else dealt with this or found a better solution?

Vola on Windows 10 - Any Problems?

Using VOLA for non USSA races

So I paid for a Vola key and I want to use it for non USSA races. Two schools of thought have appeared on this topic. 1) Just select FIS race for the type of event. Vola will just go ahead and let you do what you want because it is in FIS mode and not USSA. Running a Dual Event

I was wondering if anyone has any experience running a duals event in Vola. I am totally fine creating a start list for the qualifications and assigning red an blue course. However, I'm having trouble figuring out how to easily build the brackets. I don't want to reassign bibs based off how the qualifications went. Does anyone know how to do this?
